Am nächsten Tag ging es nach Frombork (Frauenburg).

Unterwegs haben wir bei diesem Freilichttheater in Braniewo gehalten.

The next day we went to Frombork (Frauenburg). On the way we stopped at this open-air theater in Braniewo.

In Frombork hat Nikolaus Kopernikus gelebt und gearbeitet. klick

Nicolaus Copernicus lived and worked in Frombork.

Ein Denkmal erinnert an Kopernikus.

A monument commemorates Copernicus.

Es waren hier sehr viele Bustouristen unterwegs, die u.a. auch die Kathedrale angeschaut haben.

There were a lot of bus tourists here who also looked at the cathedral.

Leider war die Kathedrale eine einzige Baustelle.

Unfortunately the cathedral was a single construction site.

Fromburk liegt wiederum am Frischen Haff, dem die Halbinsel Frische Nehrung vorgelagert ist.

So sieht der Strand etwas weiter entfernt aus. Es war sehr heiß, aber nicht allzuviel los.

Fromburk is in turn on the Frischen Haff, which is in front of the peninsula Fresh Spit. This is how the beach looks a little further away. It was very hot but not too busy.
